This is an improvement on the old style as it looks neater, is a more modern looking fabric, provides better shade and sits flat, unlike shadecloth mesh which curls at the base. The new camper bed fly also has velcro on clear or tinted plastic roll up flaps to waterproof the bed extension area. By waterproofing the bed area with the plastic covers, you can leave your canvas flaps open for ventilation during rainy periods and still enjoy natural light from an outside view. When required you can roll up the plastic flap and allow for greater ventilation through the Outlook shade fabric, or roll both up completely. Another feature of the bed fly is that it has a vinyl roof made from sunblock material to deflect heat from the bed extension area.

The captain cook is again a modern two tone annexe with one third vinyl on the base and two thirds canvas all colour coordinated to suit your van. The major differences are the windows all the windows work on the same principle as a annexe door with zips going down to the ground with roll up clear plastic on the outside and roll up heavy duty insect proof mesh and detachable curtains for privacy. With this style annexe because of the clear plastic you can see out when it is cold windy or raining, but as soon as it stops it can be rolled up and just have the mesh, again if you don't want your annexe there you can roll up mesh as well so you can walk in and out of your windows then as night approaches roll down both and pull across your curtains and then you will have your privacy.
